Kevin was polite & courteous with laundry pickup & delivery. Clothes were clean, sorted & folded professionally with no wrinkles! A-1 definitely cares about its customers & laundry quality!

Awesome help! Had to get something taken care of due to a party same day. Understood my situation, had me come in right away and was able to help me out in a bind. Will definitely be returning.

Just had a terrible experience at A1 cleaners in Mequon. I brought in a custom made runner to be cleaned. When I picked it up, as my credit card was being charged, I noticed the fringe looked strange. So, I unwrapped it, only to find the white fringe was yellowish brown and hard/stiff. It looked as though the glue used to apply the fringe had come through and stained and stiffened the fringe. I have had this runner cleaned by Ruthannes River Center Cleaners and they did a beautiful job. When I asked the young man behind the counter , he insisted it looked like that when I brought it in! I insisted he send it back and get it redone. I picked it up today! Well, now it looks worse. Again the same young man insisted it looked this way when I brought it in. It is ruined and I will never use it again! I asked for a refund and was told he didnt know the name of the company that they used for rug cleaning but every cleaners in the area uses them?! Hmm!?Sounds a little like the run around!! I have been a customer for years only to have my patronage rewarded with a ruined custom runner that can not be replaced and I got charged for it! BEWARE of having A1 clean any rugs! More reviews on yelp complaining of issues with rug cleaning at A1and UNACCEPTABLE customer service in solving the issue!nnJust read the reply from A1 to my review....first of all no one tried to do anything to make this situation right! No one identified themself as the “manager”, there was a young man behind the counter waiting on me that insisted there was nothing he could do to resolve the issue and denied me a refund. He insisted the runner came in looking this way and the rug company did the best they could do to clean it. Another man behind the counter said maybe he could contact the rug company for a refund but the first young man blew him away insisting it was the best job possible. My charge was from A1, they received payment from me, not the rug company!nI DID NOT TAKE MY RUG AND LEAVE While these two tried to resolve the issue, that is a blatant lie. I stood at they counter and asked over and over for a refund and was denied. I also asked for the name of the rug company and was denied that information as well. I was left NO choice but to take the rug and leave. I would be more than happy to come in for a refund, just tell me when! I will even bring the rug, its worthless to me!nYou left me no options but to write this review, I have had nothing but good things to say about your business and have referred many customers to you in the past but I caution everyone to send rugs elsewhere! The ball is in your court to make this right, something you definitely DID NOT try to do yesterday!
