Even though it was closed due to Coronavirus you can still walk around it. When it can reopen, I would like to go through it again

A quaint little museum spread out over a small meticulously restored “fishing village” (several buildings, boats, and a light house). Just walking on the dock along the river is worthwhile, and doing so doesn’t even require an admission ticket. Museum staff is very devoted towards maintaining this little jewel.

Town history is cool. Shipwreck artifacts even cooler. Great people.

The museum was very interesting and fun. Our family stopped here while on vacation and we're pleasantly surprised. Seemed unassuming from the street but had many buildings and some very interesting artifacts (like a 100 year old catsup bottle from the Christmas Tree Ship wreck). Definitely worth a stop.

Such a neat museum full of information on the start of commercial fishing in the Great Lakes!
