La Crosse Amtrak Station

I have to say that I'm appalled. My very first train ride. I took a 30h train ride from La Crosse, Wi to Spokane, WA. During the pandemic I read on their website they ramped up cleaning efforts. So I thought maybe they either sprayed some sort of sanitizer/disinfectant on seats passengers exited, thought they frequently cleaned toilets and or disinfected along the way. I even thought okay they could stop for an hour or so have everyone get off then fogged the train with the new fog cleaning systems. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS CLEANED. I took hand soap and wiped all my toilet seats down the whole way to Spokane. Granted I would of some something because I'm already pretty grossed out with public restrooms. So I would of been at least wiping the seat. But the floors, sides of the toilets, counter tops, even the mirror had something. When I wiped things up before usage the paper towel was gray with specs of black from the lack of cleaning in the restrooms. Seats were grotesque. Seriously took me about 15 minutes to go to the bathroom every time because of the cleaning I had to do before and after each use. Because I'm not so disrespectful I would leave a mess and not clean up after myself. They absolutely do not do any cleaning the whole entire 30 hours of train ride. They just stop to let off people and pick up people and literally the next person that gets on goes into a seat that's been used moments before WITH NO DISINFECTING OF ANY KIND AFTER THE PERSON GETS OFF!!! NO SOCIAL DISTANCING EVEN IMPLEMENED THE WHOLE 60H I SPENT ON TRAIN. The crew told people to wear their mask but when they do they put them under their neck then cough without covering their mouths. Like come on people. On the way back it was the same if not worse. The toilets clogged so we had to go to other train cars to use the restrooms. The state of the whole train on the way back was horrible. I'm so disgusted and worried about my health. Worried that no one is actually cleaning anything or doing anything to help prevent the spread of the virus. I will never go on AMTRAK again if things do not improve.

I visit my sister, 1-2., times a year that lives in LaCrosse Wisconsin. The ticket window person is very polite and helpful. Train station is perfect for that size town. The washrooms looked clean and well taken care of... T M B Chicago's Lakefront

Stranded in lacrosse Wisconsin with mobility scooter and my emotional support dog and my pet dog trying to get home to Toledo ohio u able to ride because the trip is 9 hours with a connection animals have a time limit to travel of 7 hours
