I have three kids two that attend Grewenow right now a second grader and a kinder and a third to attend this fall. Let me first say that this school is awsome for kids and adults. I grew up in a school district where 70 percent of teachers were there to collect a check. And did not encourage kids to do or be better. But when i walk and talk with the staff and some parent's at Grewenow you can feel that your kids are in good hand's. From academic learning to field day I think kids would love this school and so would you.

My son has attended grewenow for going on two years. Prior to today I have had positive experiences with grewenow. However today I am irritated enough to write this review. Today is Halloween and my son's is one of the only classes not celebrating in any way. When I questioned his teacher, as I'm looking around at other children carrying cupcakes and dressed up, his teacher replied they weren't doing anything for Halloween in a very flippant manner. When I questioned her further, she informed me that I could speak to the principal, which i did. The principal informed me that the decision was left up to each individual teacher as to whether they celebrate Halloween! Not right in my opinion and certainly not fair! It should be up to the school as a whole as to how celebrations of holidays will be handled! A teachers PERSONAL feelings or views should not be subjected on the children!! So now all of the children from her class have to watch all the other classes celebrating and having fun while it's just business as usual in their class because of one teachers decision, laziness, or personal beliefs! Not happy!
