If they give you the option to go through the mini village with a tour guide, DO NOT PASS IT UP! We had the pleasure of meeting Steve, our tour guide. So happy to show you around and tell you all about the Swiss and settling in New Glarus. From the lady at the counter in the shop to the tour guide I loved it all. Reminded me of a mini Old World Wisconsin. Highly recommend!
A well kept historical site. Easy to walk through in about an hour. A trip back in time to the old days, very very old days.
Nicely laid out. Guide did a fine job. Good descriptions of the various items and buildings. Great thinking of the history of the Swiss and the work they did to establish here.
It was enjoyable learning more about Swiss heritage. Lots to look at, very pleasant staff. A must see if you're in New Glarus
I had a great time learning from the History. The elderly lady was so nice. I loved spending time there
