While quite small, this museum is tightly packed with memorabilia, historical artifacts, and repurposed display structures. Much of the material inside pertains to the early settlement of the many villages in Southeastern Wisconsin in the mid to late 1800s, as well as the development of these communities through the roaring 20's and pre-war period.nnAs of 2019 (when I visited), one of the coolest displays was a section of bank teller booths, taken from a bank from during the early to mid 1900's. It featured thick bullet resistant glass, a several-inch thick casing of steel armor, and thick steel gun port covers which were used by armed tellers to shoot through at infringing robbers. It even featured a set of spikes at the top, which were apparently electrified, and were there to make climbing over the structure nearly impossible.
