They are the greatest family run business. My water heater went out and within hours of my call, Jerry was here replacing. Also use for salt delivery and a Jeremy is great. Highly recommend this company.
I have been a customer for many (almost 20) years. They deliver poor quality salt and refuse to service what they sell. They are inexpensive. That is the only thing that I say say in their favor.
We love Schaefer's service! We have an iron filter installed by them, they have helped us troubleshoot our water softener, and we use their affordable salt delivery. Jerry is very knowledgeable and honest about what you may or may not need. I wish more companies had great customer service like this!

Poor customer service. I am a tenant of an apartment serviced by Schaefer’s, and my unit holds the water softener tank. There have been two situations that necessitated a call to Schaefer’s, and both times the person I called was abrupt and impolite.
