Ace Hardware of Farmington

Had to exchange hardware, just do it at checkout.

Not very impressed. Customer service was lacking. I could hear an employee in the back area using obscurities to describe customers. When I was being checked out, the cashier left twice to help other employees, once with a printer issue and once with another customer's return. There wasn't any acknowledge from the staff until I was ready to check out and I was unable to find someone to help me locate an item. I bought a few things because the price was right and I had a coupon but don't really feel inclined to go back. Store was clean and well organized though.

This store has the worst customer service! the employees and assistant manager are extremely rude. I went to buy a new chainsaw yesterday. I went to grab assistance to buy it and when the gentleman came to help, he literally ripped the tag off and said that it was marked incorrectly and would not sell it to me for the marked price. I went to the front to speak to the assistant manager and her response was " oh well". Great service guys!!! I'll just go shop at the big box stores. They seem to help more than the small local businesses.

Expensive. Expensive. Expensive. The only times I walk in this place are to buy rare screws and bolts, because their collection is massive compare to Home Depot and Lowe’s. So far I’ve spent less then $10 in this place, only for literally screws. Every time I needed anything else and was in this store, I check the price at Home Depot, and they were usually 25%-50% more expensive. You can tell they don’t sell much, most of the packaging for the items on the shelf are getting yellow from sitting. I’m impressed this place didn’t close yet, and won’t be surprised if they do.. If that happens, it’ll be difficult to find screws!

This place has the best customer service. Always clean and employees have always been willing to help out with answering questions and making suggestions. Curbside pickup is nice also. Good job!
