The staff are helpful and very friendly, and have what I needed for home projects, whereas the big box stores often do not. They will even deliver for you and their prices are very reasonable. In fact, their prices are better than at the big box stores, and I will definitely go to Alpine Lumber for any other projects I might have.
Ordered some lumber today from this company. Went to pick it up and every piece was either cracked, warped, or missing chunks out of it. From the time we got there the gentleman who helped us was rude and didn't even seem to care how unhappy we were with the order. When I told him the wood was in bad shape all he could say was that's how it all looks. We do a lot of wood projects and decided to try this company but never again. Back to Lowes we go.
Bobby Crane is great on their staff. Doors not open is a bummer.
