Our company hosted our annual winter party at the Madison Children’s Museum earlier in January. It was an absolute blast! We were so impressed by the planning process we went through with the staff at the museum. They had such great suggestions and have really nailed down the coordination of large events at their venue. They worked seamlessly with our caterer, DJ, and many other vendors, which made the planning of our event both pleasant and effortless. Our guests had so much fun playing in all of the exhibits, especially the giant hamster wheel! We highly recommend the Madison Children’s Museum for any event (even when there aren’t any children attending)!

Nice museum. Not worth the price. Too small.

Ben P., the animal education specialist in the Clubhouse on the rooftop was the absolute highlight for my kids & I!!!! He is full of energy, friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining! He made learning about the animals interactive & fun! He asked my kids thought provoking questions, taught them how to be calm around the animals, how to hold them and had them engaged the entire time! He had them really thinking about the animals and got them excited about it all! He was our ultimate absolute # 1 FAVORITE part of the entire museum! If it wasn’t for him, our experience would have been ... meh (only because the museum is geared more towards littler kids). But because he gave us the experience of a lifetime, we highly recommend this Children’s museum! My kids got to touch and hold; 2 snakes, bearded dragon, gecko, tortoise & a huge chicken! Most importantly, they were excited about learning more about our native Wisconsin snakes and more! Ben, you lit up our day and made our trip extremely memorable! Thank you! Please gives this hardworking guy a raise!

I think this will be more fun once my son is a couple years older but for now it's really only entertaining for maybe 30 minutes as he crawls around the under 5 area. In the summer the rooftop is beautiful and he enjoyed looking at the plants and animals up there. It's still a beautiful museum, I just wish there were more for the barely mobile kids.

The children’s museum is A really fun and educational place to take your children. I have been taking my children to this museum since they were very young, they always seem to enjoy it every time especially when I treat them to ice cream in the lobby. There’s always something to do for them to learn and have a good time while interacting with other children. With affordable rates for families of all incomes this is definitely a place children from all backgrounds in ages can enjoy.
