Mitchell's Dry Cleaning

DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE. I am extremely disappointed with this company as they have stolen my $200 BRAND NEW shirt and I have done NUMEROUS attempts try and get it back. It has been since July 2020 my shirt has been held hostage (currently Nov 2020) for 4 months. I dropped my shirt off on a Monday and they told me it would be ready Friday. It had the smallest make up stain, however their location was convenient so I thought I might as well drop it off. I was visiting Madison and was moving to Kansas City the following Saturday so I made plans to pick up my shirt Friday the day before I left town. I arrived Friday and waited around for an hour, NO ONE was there. I later called the place and manage to get a hold of the fellow who worked there. I explained my situation, how I was there when he told me to come, and he promised he would mail my shirt. I waited 1 month then called again, he exclaimed that he forgot my address and wrote it down again. Another month went by where I was calling constantly and I finally got a hold of the owners of the place. They said the guy I spoke to was actually fired. I told them my situation all over again and they agreed that they would mail my shirt. Another another month goes by, AND NOTHING. Currently, I call the place and they ignore my calls. I know they are being ignored because using my roommates phone, hers goes through. I told them I will call the police because this is stealing, I showed up at the time they told me to come, they agreed to mail it MULTIPLE times and nothing has come. I don't live in Madison and I feel ridiculous doing the trip there just for a shirt, that they can easily mail. Highly recommend avoiding this company at all costs.
