While I understand life is crazy during these times I truly think it would be worth a visit teaching employees how to handle different disabilities. Especially during these times when Covid does make things harder.nnAs someone who is deaf, who normally reads lips it is extremely hard to understand anyone much less with masks on. The gentleman in the paint department was kind enough at first but soon became extremely aggitated because I couldn't understand his answers. Yes it is irritating to repeat yourself but try needing to ask people to repeat themselves all the time.nnI let the gentleman know I was deaf and pointed to my hearing aids and he was even more short with me to the point I just left. True I can't read lips thru a mask but he kept turning his head away making it even harder to understand. He just kept pointing. At what, I have absolutely no idea! He very calmly could have explained once or written down or actually taken me to any spot to start. I wouldn't even have minded waiting if he could have pointed me in a specific section to start.nnI informed customer service of the situation and cited this could be a wonderful learning moment for all staff. Manager seemed uninterested.nnI rarely leave a review. There was no need to be talked to rudely or for me to feel dismissed. I will most likely not return to this location and will definitely be letting other deaf friends know as well. Please review simple easy steps to assit those with hearing disabilities with all staff. Truly a 15 second written note would have avoided all this. Thanks!

Stop the mask requirement please. If masks work, the people wearing them should have nothing to fear. If people choose to wear a mask that is fine. If people choose not to wear one, that is also fine.

My home Menards. The layout makes more sense than most to me. I go there for different things than home depot. Can't be beat for PT lumber. Have gotten good cedar as well. Way cheaper than local lumber yards and have good stuff if you're willing to sort.
