Is only open by appointment currently. Has very nice grounds you can walk on some of for free.
That was a very interesting tour. To see what a wealthy family lived like back in the 1890's. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the mansion and the Dousman family that lived there.
We almost had our wedding ceremony here. Such a gorgeous area with so much history. Unfortunately due to the flooding we decided to move our wedding. The gardens were not ready and the area was a little swampy. Sarah was great and understanding. From the beginning of our booking Sarah was fabulous and always offered her help. We were all ready to go with their rentals and felt in great hands. Highly recommend working with her!
What a gem of history that has been lovingly tended to! So worth a visit. The extended tour was excellent and well worth the month long wait for the day to arrive. Staff is amazing and help make history a living part of today.
