Rice Lake Police Department

It’s sad to see that everyone hates cops now days. You see head lines all over the of cops shoot people that “ haven’t done anything wrong”. The only reason why cops point a gun in someone’s direction is because they feel as though there life might be in danger. Cops can brake into your house legally with out your permission if they have a Search warrant. And just because you can find a cop when you look for them isn't because there off doing god knows what it’s because there patrolling making sure everything is ok. Cops are the only was we can stay safe out here and if we push them away all are life will be in grate danger. Y’all can think how you want but if you hate cops because “there racist” your wrong. I do admit there are some bad cops out there but most are good men and women. If y’all can’t understand this go to Mexico where all the cops are actually bad people. Rice like is my home and I thank the rice lake police department for there had work and commitment to this town. Keep it up and I 1 day would love to join this team of brave individuals.

Lazy. Incompetent. And no where to be found. There wew drunks all over town last night/morning(7/22/17 in the am) and I circled the town twice, NOT ONCE did I see ANY signs of law enforcement, not even in their hiding holes. Though I will give them credit, they are great at parking tickets when no one's around.

This morning I locked my keys in my Jeep - I called 911 and they sent the nicest police officer I've ever met. He was courteous and determined to get into my car. He was friendly and funny and did not treat me like silly senior citizen. I wish I had thought to get his name but I'm sure you can find him from your reports. I'm just so thankful the police department was able to help me. The 911 operator was also very courteous and very helpful.nnThank you very much

These police should be ashamed of their self breaking into people's houses for no reason putting them at gunpoint and in danger for no reason no crime committed on announcing their selves think it's time to do a little firing at the police department maybe they should start with the chief of police for not doing anything about it my daughter was in danger and left with a broken door no way to protect her home and suppose dangerous criminal on the loose in the neighborhood they should have put her up in a hotel room and fix the door of the house and at least boarded it up and watched her house can't believe you treat your model citizens like this SO I PROTECTED CATLIN SURNILA AND THE FIXED HER DOOR BY ME BEING PERSISTENT. NOW THAT I JEFFREY CLEMONS MADE A COMPLAINT ON OFFICER ANDY FOR INVADING PRIVACY ,LYING ON A APALATIONS FOR A SERCHWORENT AND DAMAGE TO PROPERTY . THEY WONT DO A THING ABOUT CRIMES DON TO ME . I WONDER IF THEY GET THERE INSTRUCTION FROM GOD.
