Mellen Police Department

I got pulled over last night for speeding while I was lost in town, trying to find my way back home to Michigan. This was, without a doubt, the most pleasant experience I have ever had with the police; ever. Both officers were friendly, laughing at my jokes, and were more than happy to assist me in finding my way back to the road I was supposed to be on. There were also no preconceived assumptions that I was up to no good, or if there was, they certainly did not make any known. The stop concluded with us both wishing pleasant nights to one another other, and myself actually meaning it.nnThis is exactly what policing is supposed to be like; others should take note.
