Calvin Coolidge Historic Site

Kind of an interesting place. For it's historical value the museum doesn't focus much on President coolidge's administration and any signature policies he had.nnIt seems to play a greater role on the history of the place he came from. The tour was great.

On a quiet summer Tuesday, we had the place almost to ourselves. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Some of the museum exhibits are interactive which is cool for both young and old. The pristine little village harkens back to an earlier time in VT. The exhibits in the barn show what farming was like before tractors. I get exhausted just thinking about the rigors of their daily life! A very nice place to spend a couple of hours.

Great little village with great history! Unfortunately, covid shut down most of the operation but still a nice little stroll through checking this out from the outside.

This was an accidental discovery, and well worth the side trip. Plan about 2 hours to absorb it all. Grounds and artifacts are perfectly kept. Knowledgeable staff are on site for questions and to point out all those wonderful tid-bits and stories.

Wonderfully maintained historic site. Peaceful and quiet. Perfect setting to reflect on our nation's history and the time of Calvin Coolidge.
