Beautiful retreat located right on the mountain. The owners are the most responsive I have encountered when renting a place. Everything in the house worked perfectly and was immaculately clean. Attention to detail to have everything ready was exceptional.nnWe rented for a week over this summer looking for a comfortable place to get away and this exceeded our expectations. We had 7 in our party but the house can comfortably accommodate 12. It is conveniently located a couple minute drive from town, yet sits on a quiet road nestled among the trees. The base of one of the ski lifts is at the end of the street as is the road that leads to the top of the mountain.nnSummer (and assuredly even more so in winter) there is plenty to do in town, the nearby ski resort, fabulous hiking trails, buttermilk falls, not too far Vermont Country store and the surrounding area.nnJacuzzi was great for after hiking as was the outdoor fire pit which comes accompanied by a huge quantity of available wood. We will definitely stay again.
