When I went in for the pedicure, a polite young woman started it, but then an older woman abruptly took over. She didn’t say a word, smile or acknowledge me at all. She seem to be in a rush. I guess she was pretty thorough. When she wanted me to move my foot and put it somewhere else she would just push it or pull it. She seemed irritated with me. At one point she massaged my calves and feet and was really rough. I had some healing blisters and even though I winced and told her it hurt she kept on rubbing them hard. It was really odd and unpleasant. Then a younger woman who does speak English took over and painted my nails. She was very pleasant. I won’t be going back, though. I didn’t feel welcome, though I did spend good money on the pedicure.
I went in for a full set a week ago and I already have 2 nails lifting, ready to fall off. In all my years of having acrylics, I've never had a nail fall off or break.I also had to go home and re-file my nails due to the terrible attention to detail. No one likes rough edges. I only came here because MA salons were closed due to covid.
Hannah is a amazing nail artist and works much harder than most people I know!! Other staff are all friendly as well even though there is a big communication barrier as most don't speak English.
InRecently we have moved away from Brattleboro but before that time I was an every other week customer of K n N. Yesterday as a visitor to our hometown I went to the salon for a manicure and pedicure. The manicure was fine bit the pedicure was atrocious. The technician didn’t smile, was extremely rough and cut my toenail to the quick so that it is still bleeding today more than 23 hours later. Neither she nor her daughter, the owner, were concerned. I am.
It was my first time in the shop and I loved it! She was great and put up with all the shortening I asked her to do (going from claws to short). Can't wait for the next visit already!
