I never write reviews, but feel compelled to after getting my haircut by Madelyn yesterday. After the haircut, I went swimming in the river (twice), didn't wash or brush my hair, slept on it, and just woke up to a good hair day?! Proof of a really great haircut :) Cool salon, Madelyn is awesome.

The worst looking hair cut, and salon experience of my over 70s life. I very young hair dresser was very polite, but her touch was insecure, as if she did not want to touch my head. The washing should have alerted me. Her fingers never touched my scalp. Only the out side of my hair. She dried my hair before cutting. Older women are a large part of the population now. She had no idea how .to touch or cut my hair. It felt like a tiny mouse crawling over my head. I felt cheated by the experience. I paid the 28 dollars for the experience and gave a 5 dollar tip, but it was for the worst hair cut of my longish life. I was told I could pay 38 dollars for a more experienced hairdresser, but really, I should have been given given that option before the terrible experience. I have a funeral to go to, but even with a hat to cover this haircut, I am embarrassed. This salon has a great reputation, and I really thought I had nothing to fear. I was wrong. If the owners want to see , call me, I will show you why I say its the worst haircut I ever received.
