I purchased a property from sellers Karen Heath represented. They knew I only had a few more days in Rutland to purchase a house before I had to go back to Tn for the closing on my home there. I made a full price cash offer. My realtor received an email from Karen saying she and the sellers got together and decided not to fix anything in the house. It was a take it or leave it. When the sellers left they took the shower rod. I have a bad hip and can’t manage a tub, left two large holes in the ceiling where they had taken down a projector & a rusted fuel tank that I have to pay to get rid of. Their excuse was they didn’t have enough time to do anything. If they needed more time something could have been worked out, I wasn’t asked. Now the combination washer dryer has to be replaced. That will be over $1200.00 on top of the repairs they refused to do. Guess I could have walked away from the house but I would have been in a motel with two dogs and a cat trying to manage with a cane. All in all if you see Karen Heath’s name on anything run don’t walk in the other direction.
