Really Great Food... but the wait time can be lengthy. Call Ahead!!
We ordered the whole belly clams and the pulled pork sandwich and the whole belly clams were the best I had ever had anywhere. You don’t need to go to Maine to get the best whole belly clams!The pulled pork was tender, tasty, and a huge amount of food. We have been there for creemees a couple of times ,which was the least expensive and had to go for some real food. We only regret they’re not open all winter - thank you! Thank you!
Such a great little place in the middle of nowhere or middle of everywhere. The kids (wait staff) are very attentive. Not sure what's better...the food or the prices. Both are very good.
We stopped here with our side by side ... Came up from Rutland to ride the trails and knew we wanted to stop here. We have been to New Orleans many times and Cajun is one of our favorite foods!! The shrimp and crawfish po-boys were our choices...the remoulade sauce was up to par with those we had at Jazz Fest...therefore so were the po-boys!! During this Covid time we were served in our side by side. There was quite a crowd there...we knew it was a favorite!! Just unusual to see a cajun snack bar in Lowell, VT...we will be back next year. Thank you!
