Lake Havasu has a unique history and this museum explains it in a way that is fun for all ages. It's neat to see the exhibits about McCullough. The museum helpers we're great to explain some of the interesting pictures and facts that were important to the history. They had a fun scavenger hunt for the kids and when they finished that they could color and build things in the child area. Plan for at least an hour to get through it.
Marvelous museum! Reasonably priced, lots of activities for the children, a must-see of you are lover of history!
Attended the ribbon cutting! Wonderfully displayed, so interesting and educating. And yes easy to spend an hr or two - great gift shop! Local artists wares are showcased and available for purchase. Thanks Smithonian and the people who made this happen.
