Couldn't help but notice this beautiful statue on the drive from smuggler's notch to stowe. I stopped and was impressed by the monument, the history behind the 10th mountain division, and the detail and effort out into this wonderful relic.
We happened up this as we drove past in while vacationing throughout New England last fall. We just had to turn back, stop and read the inscription and then just admire and ponder the beautiful and magnificent bronze sculptures in honor and a wonderful tribute to this military branch of our military. A warm thank out goes out to Chuck and Jan Perkins. If in the area you must stop and take a look for yourself. Perhaps even go skiing with them.
Incredible bronze statues located north along Mountain Road. Appears to be on private property but easily observed from the road. Very generous of the property owners to share their collection with the public.
