A very interesting museum. Well worth the price of admission. They have a room dedicated to the history of the local railroad s, the military service if locals, local farming innovation, medical innovations that relate to St. Albans and local artifacts. It is clear that the volunteer staff care a great deal about the exhibits and the history and are more than willing to share their knowledge.
The museum was very clean and tidy but staff were cruel.
Little upset. When I looked up this place for time; it said they where open. But when I get there, I found out they where closed for the season in October. Don't know if I should have blamed the website for misleading info or myself for not doing a better checking of the hour's.
So much history. I taught history and I learned so many new things. Excellent programs that are free or very reasonable priced.
Staff was friendly, museum was clean & well organized, very informative displays. It was awesome they had an open house with free admission for the Maplefest, really enjoyed sharing history with my boys instead of the ridiculous carnival mess in the rain!
