A well maintained store with an ample supply of some of the most common and popular items one would expect to find in a hardware store at a fair price. I was particularly pleased to find an effective pet safe insecticide to fend off all the creepy crawlies trying to sneak in because winter is coming.

The manager at St Albans Ace Hardware is very knowledgeable and helpful every time I visit. Whenever I visit I'm asked quickly if I need assistance and if there's anything else they can do for me.nnSo you might ask, why 4-stars? I would totally give them 5 stars for atmosphere, environment, and cleanliness! However I do find it difficult sometimes to find commonly available elsewhere items in stock, in store, they do inform me they can order stuff but it will take multiple days and you have to pick it up, no direct shipping even though it's not in stock.nnThat's the only reason I say 4 stars. I would ask that all staff receive more training around the technical usage of products for household projects but otherwise a great experience when I visit Saint Albans Ace.
