I lived at the Seymour St apartments and had a great experience - excellent notifications from the property management team and they were as nice when I moved out as when I moved in - also loved the maintenance guys - texted me when they were coming to respond to a request and let me know when they were finished - I’d live there again if I come back to the Burlington Area - thanks for everything Tina and tell everyone I said thanks so much!!

The staff of Rieley Properties is absolutely wonderful, however the organizational aspect of the company is poor and the quality of housing is poor or very poor. They charged me an extra month of rent, and have a lot of fee's associated with their leases. The cost per square foot is high, and the quality of the square feet is low. The apartments in the champlain school house are cheaply refinished by underpaid maintenance workers who aren't given the proper budgets to do a good job.nnThe amount of noise from the hallways is absurd. The walls are sound proof, however the doors are far from it. You can hear your neighbors talking at normal volume across the hall. Every single person that walks past is very audible so peace and quiet in your apartment is not achievable at any time. The amount of maintenance going on in the building is very disruptive and the Wi-Fi infrastructure is so old that no matter what type of internet service you have you will experience major disruptions in download speed for hours and days at a time.nnThe Champlain School House building is old, and maintenance is to be expected. It is maintained decently well, however the maintenance that is done is strictly to sell to new tenants, leaving the existing tenants to put up with lots of on going projects. In my year long lease we experienced multiple VERY disruptive problems with our plumbing.nnAt the out set of the pandemic the company sanitized door knobs, sold toilet paper rolls at hyper inflated prices, but otherwise made no accomodation for their tenants who might be struggling financially.nnOverall this company is creates negative value in Burlington, and should be avoided. Scott Rieley is not a gracious or understanding individual, he does not care about his tenants, he only cares about the profit and he made that very clear through out my experience with his company.

They charge you the city tax landlords pay to rent out a unit out of your security deposit. Total scam.

Terrible landlords to work with

I rented at Finney Crossing for 2 years. Scott, Tina and Sarah were all wonderful to deal with. Communication was timely. The building was kept in great repair and any maintenance issues I had were addressed promptly. It is a great location to live and I will miss it!
