Rude service, flies crawling on food, members seemed untrained with little knowledge of their own ingredients and were hostile to customers as if “bothering” them by being there. Very unfortunate place- won’t be coming back

An appreciative regular and this negative review is not based on food quality but on customer service. I love a coupon and the $5.99 sub is my favorite so I hurried in to abide by the limited validity dates. The coupon says print, scan at the store or order online. I presented my phone to scan the barcode only to be told it did not work. The scanner worked, my phone worked but the clerk said it did not read the barcode. No override possible, no manual price entry possible (I am not a manager) just a full price sub and no apology. I was tempted to waste the already made sub and walk out but figured that serves no purpose but would definitely write it up. The subs are always good & I appreciate service, especially during a pandemic, but when a customer presents a valid coupon and the store can’t “scan” it who bears the responsibility to make it right?

I went to Subway Friday the 14 and placed an order. There were 2 guys working one guy (Alex) Is awesome! The other guy there was vernrude. He didn’t want to be there and his attitude and actions showed that. The result was that I gave Alex only a tip. This is why I left Subway before Coronavirus and I see Union Jack’s is opening soon!ud83dude0a get some good food and service and no BS from unhappy Subway worker’s!
