But for history-minded travelers without gobs of disposable cash, they’re great community resources that should be taken advantage of.nnThe Milton Historical Society has been around for nearly five decades and is dedicated to preserving the area’s rich history.nnThe museum is located in a church from the 1850s and features an impressive collection of artifacts and historical memorabilia.nnOperating hours are from Wednesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 4 PM. Those traveling in groups may make special appointments with advance notice.
Loved visiting Milton's Historical Society in the old church. Learned a lot about the area and met so many nice people.

Wonderful little museum with Milton history. Volunteers are fabulous and so very k knowledgeable about the history.
it's great to go to a place like this Museum and absolutely learn something new. I'm 72 years old and learned all about Button making and Milton who knew for manufacturers of buttons. So much information about shipbuilding and the little town of Milton. So happy I went
