Ocean View Deli & Restaurant

Very nice restaurant, not fancy but food was great. I got coconut shrimp and loved that it was lightly breaded, not too much breading. My friend got regular fried shrimp and said it was delicious as well. We also got corn and apple fritters as sides, and they were super tasty.

Always great. The best tasting sausage. Breakfast anytime. My wife always gets a dinner special. Their soups are excellent. My favorite is chicken noodle or rice. I love their omelets or cheese burger subs. For dinner specials I have had ribs, pork chop with peach sauce and 4 pieces of pan fried chicken. My wife had crab cakes (2) ($16.95) with mashed potatoes and corn fritters. I had large CHB with apple fritters $10.89, soup $3.50 plus 2 drinks. ($39 + 8 tip). We were full

This isn't the most appealing restaurant from the outside, and we visited in mid September during COVID-19. The inside isn't much better and looked like a standard, old-town diner. It was pretty crowded inside and no one except staff was wearing masks even though there was little distance between tables. We, therefore, ordered to go. The food was good and the price moderate.

This was my second trip here. The first time was a year or so ago and I loved their eggs benedict so went back for more. Sadly, they are seasonally offered. No big deal - not the restaurant's fault that I didn't check the menu. I got the Meat Lover's omelette ($12). I've never had a larger omelette than this one and it didn't disappoint. Well, that isn't completely true - it was so big I couldn't eat many of the crispy potatoes that come with the meal. 10/10 would recommend.

THE BEST DELI EVER. Nothing beats the nostalgic childhood memories of eating freedom fries in their booths. I continue meeting family here when in town and love taking my family there. I remember when I was a boy I called it the blue house.
