Every other vacation rental agency I know of issued full refunds and was compassionate/understanding about cancellations during the COVID pandemic. Lewes Realty has been dismal — not issuing refunds to at-risk people (from far away involving flights to get to DE, senior citizen, folks with medical issues, etc.) EVEN WHEN THEY WERE ABLE TO RERENT THE UNITS IMMEDIATELY AT FULL PRICE. Lewes Realty sends promises that “a check will go out next week” and then not respond to emails for months. They then tell renters “we’ve heard 100s of COVID excuses” and that since there is now a vaccine (????), everything is safe. SPARE YOURSELVES — rent from somewhere else.

Had a mixup with reservation but staff handled it professionally and compassionately. They even called in a favor to have our rental bikes delivered to the new property.

This is a wonderful place to rent a home or buy a home through. The employees are so very nice, friendly and helpful. They went over and beyond the call of duty to help me find the perfect vacation home.

The best realtor in Lewes for all of your real estate needs whether you're buying, selling, or renting! I've been with Lewes Realty for the past 3 years and have had the most positive experience in every which way. The owner Carol and each one of the staff Melissa, Julie, & Zack have always been very helpful, professional, and wonderful to work with.nBoth Carol and Melissa have been especially helpful during the past few years and have gone the extra mile whenever I've needed anything. This is a local family owned business that I'm happy to continue to support.
