You have to call and make an appointment to visit. There are two parking spots out front that v are free but only good for 30 minutes.nnThere are also a few parking meters right there too but..... if you just go a little further down the meters end and it's free parking.

Small but focused museum chronicling the history of the area. I was unaware of the Dutch influence here and found the information interesting. Exhibits on the local railroads and sunken vessels off the coast provide context that this area is more than just a place for a beach vacation.

The Zwaanendael Museum is a great little Museum filled with amazing history and artifacts from the Town and surrounding areas. The stall and Volunteers were very friendly and very informed about the area and its history. They relayed their love for the area and their bountiful knowledge to us in a easy and fun way.

Unique architectural wonder in the heart of Lewes Delaware. Exhibits and staff interpret coastal and local history.
