Larry is I crook! When moving into a place you advise him if the discrepancies and he tells you not to worry about them they won't be counted against you, then when you move it he counts them against you. He's money hungry and will trust the situation just to keep your deposit. Complained to him multiple different times about raw sewage spilling into the house and he did nothing about it, isn't that a health and sanitary violation? Stay as far away as you can.

They will take your deposit and not give it back. We hadn't even moved out of our rental but had entered an agreement with the homeowner to purchase the home. They sent us a check for half the deposit claiming that was all we had paid. We had proof otherwise so I didn't cash the check they sent but instead sent them proof that they had the wrong amount after numerous messages were left on their phone with no response. They refused to sign for the registered letter I eventually sent them. The check is no longer any good. They WILL RIP you off as they did the same thing to my good friends. UPDATE: If I had been in violation of my lease, this company would have said so on the paperwork that they returned with the deficient deposit check. Instead they had the wrong amounts listed on what we paid towards our deposit which she would have known had she signed for the certified package I sent with my lease showing what we were owed. They are CROOKS! And they didn't return any of it as I never cashed the check they sent because it was deficient. I sent our back with the paperwork showing they didn't return or fill deposit. I guess their accounting practices are as deficient as that check was if they didn't even know that!

One star is one star too many. I can confirm a prior review, in that they will look for any way possible to keep your security deposit and charge you additional fees after vacating a property. So if you decide to rent with them, even after seeing all these terrible reviews, just kiss your money goodbye.

We at Mountain Pines Realty try to please owners and tenants, unfortunately, we can't please everyone all the time. The negative reviews I have read on this site are from people who have broken their leases and 1 was even evicted! Please call us if you want details, we have serviced hundreds of tenants and owners, and try to be fair. Thanks!

I initially gave MPR 5 stars until I received my security deposit back. I had zero issue and hardly any correspondence with MPR during my time as a tenant. Interestingly enough, the reviews of this company stealing your deposit is very true. We were exceptional tenants and left the house better than when we arrived. I paid $1450 as a deposit and received $530 in return. I never received any type of notification that we owed any fees. The company said that we did not give 30 days notice but I was out the day our lease was up. They charged us for 15 days in May. Its not even May 15th as I write this. L### will not return my calls, texts, or emails and has not for at least two weeks. She knows her actions are shameful and believes that she can simply turn her back and everything will go away. I am also filing a complaint with the Arizona Board of Realtors,as others have. This has been very difficult on our family as we intended to move these funds over to the next property. I have now had to stop my dealings with the new property until I can get this figured out. It's horrible the position that they have put us in. If you read the other reviews, it's clearly a pattern. If they do the same to you, please step up and fight them in a legal way. They will not be reasonable with you or display any type of care for you or your situation. They are 100% about eating up your $$ anyway they can conjure up. If people step up and fight them, they will leave this industry and stop hurting people and their families. The working families have enough hardship as it is with having people like this move in and take what is not theirs to take. New Note..... Wow, I do not threaten peoples lives. (I hurt myself???) No you hurt me and two little girls!!! Shameful. L### is trying to pretend like she is the victim to make you feel sorry for her and continue to business with them. She's an evil person and this is not an accident. I'm just a person who is tired of seeing her do the same thing to people. I have had several landlords with no issue. In fact, I have an impeccable record, with references. We did not break our contract AT ALL. This woman had several calls, texts, emails from me and never responded to any after stealing my $ and putting my family in an impossible situation. My calls were over several weeks and even months with NO RESPONSE. She is being sued and does not sign/accept the court orders documents. Typical response is they (all bad reviews) are not following the agreement. If that were the case she would be signing the documents to go to court and fight. She avoids the court because she knows what will happen there. At some point the, "they didn't follow their lease agreement" will stop working as an excuse to steal. I like how she reviewed own company and gave it more stars to bump up her average. The average review is still 1 star...as it should be!!! Avoid them at all cost, (client and customer).
