Ashton Tract - Augustine Wildlife Area

Great place to relax and enjoy the sunset view and only downfall there’s lots of mosquitos. I’d recommend to wear long sleeves.

What a privilege to bird here! Tons of birds and a beautiful location!

It's very pretty and a nice view of the marsh, but you should be warned that we saw about 10 black snakes during the 20 mins we were there. Most of them were swimming in the water.

Nice observation deck - a few short trails into the woods. A little far from most of the birds so bring long lenses or binoculars. It's always a good sign if you see a bald eagle as you're walking in. Great place to watch a sunset as it faces west.

I love this location, I live not too far from it, so every time I am feeling down or just need somewhere quiet I go there.
