New Castle City Police Department

People regularly speed up and down Washington St and route 9 by Dobbinsville, I have literally watched this happen in front of the cops who are sitting in these areas. I guess the flashings red speed limit sign is simply a suggestion.

My car was broken into and it took 3 calls to get them to come. When they finally did come is was 1am! They dusted for fingerprints and left. That was more than a month ago. I have called to ask if there is an update on the finger prints and no one knows anything... Sad that the same happened to neighbor and quickly there was a cop knocking on my door asking for my name and date of birth.. I guess you have to be white and have blue eyes for police to help... Nothing new..

The people that work here that I've spoke with seem like they genuinely care about the community.
