If you have time spend a Day here with the Tour Guide. He'll blow your mind with information unknown to the average American.
Beautiful and well-preserved building, part of the First State National Historic Park and promoted as one of its seven main attractions. We walked in and were greeted by a friendly bearded gentleman, who gave us a wonderful 40-minute tour for free. It was through his stories that the place came to life and made us appreciate its historic significance. The tour ended at the second floor, where there is a small exhibition on the history of European settlement in Delaware.nnWe visited in the summer and the air-conditioned interior was definitely a welcome break from the intense heat. They also have clean restrooms at the basement.
