Delaware State Police: Troop 1

Due to my prior experiences with certain individuals in law enforcement, and also the situations that are posted on the internet - I regret to say that I’m really not a fan. However... I had a recent encounter that gave me a different perspective, and I feel those types of things should be exposed to give a balance. Won’t get into too many details,but CPL Justice is a very good person. I feel safe knowing guys like him are responsible for upholding the law, and we truly need more people like him.

Earlier this month I had a vehicle stolen from my house. Cpl. Deskis went above and beyond to help me out! Amazing thank you.

On 7/25/2016 I was the victim of a hit and run accident. Corp. Natalie George from Troop 1 responded with more professionalism, thoroughness, and kindness than I ever expected. I'm still trying to resolve some legal issues from the accident that can only be done because of the extra effort that Corp. George went to in her follow up investigation after she left the scene. My sincere thank you to Corp. George and the Delaware State Troopers. You'r the best.

The Troop 1 Station serves our community well. Troop 1 officers reliably offer pleasant support to all in need. The State Police Officers at Troop 1 protect and serve many with integrity and devotion.Thank you!

Hello everyone,nWe as a community a blessed and privleged to have CPL, Payne/DSP Troop 1. Today, CPL, Payne went beyond the call of duty to deescalate a situation where a student had threatened the safety of my school bus other students and myself. He showed the highest level of professionalism and I thank him for that.nHonestly, he did save lives today plain and simple and I'll leave it at that.nThanks again CPL, Payne for all that you do.
