We lived here for a year. It is a quiet community. The apartments are spacious, clean and well maintained. The maintenance people are responsible and respectful. There is ample parking space in the community if not in front of your building (there usually is). The only downside is, they are a bit strict about the lease, which is understandable. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for good neighbors and a well maintained place.

We moved in recently and are impressed with the grounds. It's nicely kept and really pretty! It's also very quiet, peaceful and no crime that we've noticed. I've never seen a cop here. Maintenance is fast and super nice. The apartment is very nice, beautiful fireplace, lots of cupboard space. The only downside so far is the thin walls...I am anxious about my toddler being too loud and bothering others. We were hanging pictures at 4 in the afternoon yesterday and the neighbor was banging on the wall so that's frustrating but overall it's great. We really do love it here.

husband and I have been here for about a year and just resigned for another. Love this place apartments are clean, well maintained. In general its very quiet. The amenities are great, we love the pool and my niece loves the play ground. The windows and appliances are all brand new therefore our bills are reasonable as opposed to other apartments. Great place

I lived at Blue Hen for three years.nWhenever I had any problems, the maintenance staff quickly fixed the issue.nGood place to live; easy commute to base.

Nice place to live and decent amenities. The only place I know that has events for their tenants and offers breakfast. Small workout facility for the amount of people living there. There’s a pool which is great and playground for kids. There’s even a dog walking area and receptacles places all around the property although there are many tenants that let there animals go anywhere. The managers in the rental office are polite but I think they are overwhelmed with the amount of tenants on the property. They tend to make a large number of clerical errors with the paperwork. And tend to charge people for things they’ve never signed up for. Always follow up with them to make sure your rental agreement is correct. Otherwise a nice place to live.
