Amazing history and heritage on display here. We have been to a few events over the years and have always come away happy. The horse drawn plowing or the threshing machine are always super cool to watch. Well worth the stop!

This museum has been lovingly developed and maintained by proud local community members, who have assembled a truly impressive array of historical information, images, plus antique vehicles and machinery. Some of the vehicles, including horse-drawn ones, date back as much as 150 years. There are even stage coaches and vintage agricultural and timber equipment. This museum is very much worth a visit and is just off of Oregon Highway 18, just west of McMinnville. The museum is free, but donations are appreciated! Please remember to thank the friendly volunteers!

I was blown away by the collection of old time farm equipment, tractors and cars. As a life long Oregonian, but one that hails from Portland, it was a fascinating look in to the heritage of myself and others living here.nnIt doesn’t convey it from the outside, but the exhibits inside are really cool, and you get to wander around and touch things (except where marked).nnI played the spoons, looked at log houses being built, sat on a tractor and just marveled at history, restored and sitting right in front of me.nnIt doesn’t seem like it gets a ton of traffic, so veer in and take a look. Four 20/30-somethings down from Portland were just blown away. Definitely beat our expectations. You won’t be disappointed.nn(And the people that volunteer a delightful — have a chat and laugh with them!)

Fun place to go see impressively restored farm equipment and learn about agricultural history. Every time I go, there is something new to see. Farm Fest in April, and Harvest Fest in August, are both enjoyable family-friendly events.

They may deserve 5 stars but i apparently was there on a day they did not provide tours. Someone asked me how i got in and i said through the front door. They didn't kick me out but i was on my own. My great great grandparents settled in this area in the 1800s but the heritage timeline didnt seem to cover that era. I was hoping for information so make sure you check the tour hours. They have the largest collection of transportaion vehicles such as covered wagons, tractors, cars, etc. that i have ever seen. You could easily spend 2 hours just viewing the vehicals that are well labeled.
