Amazonia

There is always something new to explore in the Amazonia at the Zoo. Look how lucky these guinea pigs live. Every one has unique furs. They are so cute. I think it's great to have them.

I am extremely satisfied.

Experience the Amazon - starting underwater with a view into aquariums holding a variety of fishes from tiny tetras to 8-foot monsters, then head upstairs to walk through a forest filled with birds and monkeys. You can’t miss this if you’re visiting DC. It’s a truly wonderful place.

Coolest building at the Zoo. Animals roam pretty freely and the fish are in huge tanks (the fish are huge themselves too!). They have a cool electric eel exhibit and lots of educational material as well as the ability to get up close to the animals.nMake sure you walk through the other side of the building. All of the frogs are over there!

My granddaughter and I love watching the fish in this beautiful tank. We love to walk through the open Amazon jungle exhibit upstairs so we can find the free roaming animals.
