United States Capitol Police

These people that work there are unprofessional. They hang up on people and lie and say that they are in charge. When they would not let you speak to their superior. I hope you have a good vacation.

My review of the Capitol Police in Washington DC. Most of them are professional. I got called Sir three times when I was in the Senate Hart building. I'm a transgender woman and when I got arrested for civil disobedience the police were very professional. This is me holding my arrest paperwork after I got sprung after paying my fine. unfortunately the police have to follow orders from a mostly Republican Senate and House of Representatives. So all in all they did their job in a very professional way while they arrested me. I always retain the right of free speech and assembly which is guaranteed under the Constitution though. Saying that if I ever get arrested again by this professional police force I reserve the right to alter this review.. if they do not uphold the highest standards of police professionalism!

Our 1'st Amendmentto the US Constitution is job security for this PD because American's who demand their rights, often have to clarify their redress of grievances. At a time when Congress approval rating is at 14% and the border invasion continues because of a handful of dictator wannabe politicians - it can get a little heated as it probably should. Far as I'm concerned we are far too tolerant of DC tyrants but keeping it legal is also part of the equation, if you love your freedom to be able to hit the streets if and when it becomes necessary.nnIn my particular situation the CPD are professionals and well schooled in the constitution by American's who use their rights often. Call you're Senator and give em hell or praise when deserved, It's your right and your money.nnAfter further review I see why after 200+ years there are only a handful of reviews. Being shadow banned by the anti free speech dictatorship at Google will be dealt with, one way or another. Democrats want their dictatorship and I am going to make sure they don't get it.

Respectful and helpful. Ignore the trolls giving 1 star ratings because of political reasons. They probably have never been to DC in their lives.

Met someone that worked here. Was not intelligent at all and told me about some things they did to people that were just very lousy and that they basically just stood around all the time and did hardly anything. Even that they went running during their shift. Have to love working for the government. Can not believe people allow this to happen.
