Hill Country Barbecue Market

Food is great. My faves are chicken, brisket moist, and short ribs. Get one of the lunch or dinner specials as the meat is highway robbery (beyond exhorbitant) when you buy by weight. All sides are good. The corn bread muffins with cinnamon butter put the exclamation point on the deliciousness.

This spot is the one I like best. I visit a lot of restaurants but to this restaurant I keep coming back again and again. The team is very attentive and the cuisine they serve is so flavorful. I am always happy to have a good dinner in this place. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Best bbq I’ve tasted from restaurant. I like that the ribs are actually smoked. You can eat the ribs dry or cover with sauce. The brisket is torchud83dudd25also. You can tell it was time preparing the meat. The cool as a cucumber salad is my favorite side here. The price is pretty high for portion of meat but after eating it you see why because of quality. It’s 10$ for 2 ribs which is a half pound. I wish they had option to buy full slab or half slab ribs.

The best! I literally don’t understand the bad reviews on here. Maybe they’re from high maintenance people or just people who don’t understand Texas barbecue? I don’t know. I went to Hill Country for the first time 9 years ago on a first date with my (now) husband. He was born in San Antonio and I had never experienced Texas barbecue before. I was an instant convert and we go back all the time for special occasions or for a special date night. The brisket is AMAZING...get the moist - it’s the best. The sides are wonderful and it’s a fun experience. It is on the expensive side, so we don’t go as often as we would like, but it’s well worth the price when we go! We never leave hungry, that’s for sure. Highly recommend!
