Best dry cleaning and Alterations in Dc
This dry cleaner is wonderful! Always up for making me laugh! And the cleaning is stupendous! 5-star!
The woman who operates this shop is lovely! I have had her hem several dresses and put a zipper in a skirt. Her work has always been impeccable and she always gives a very reasonable price. To put a zipper in a skirt and adjust the waist, she quoted $17. To hem other dresses or re-sew something that has come undone, the price has been between $8-15 depending on the amount of work that needed to be done. If she can't do something or has to send it out, she will tell you honestly and up front. I highly recommend her for any tailoring.
Had a pair of curtains that needed shortening quite a bit. I called all around D.C. and was quoted anywhere from $20-$30/each. These are not expensive curtains so I was disappointed, thinking I'd have to spend more on hemming than the curtains were actually worth. I went in and talked to the staff here on a whim as I live in the area, not even know they did tailoring/alterations and was delighted when she said $10/each. Although they do have to be shipped off to do alterations off-site, they were extremely nice throughout the process and when I picked them up in just a few days, they were perfect and pressed and cost me exactly what I was quoted. Wonderful experience. I'll be coming back for more alterations needs as well as dry cleaning.
