I can’t say enough about this place! Amazing Service and a pleasure to work with. I was in a panic as I needed alterations for a tux and had 2 days before the event. These miracle workers came through in a pinch and it was done perfectly. I don’t write many reviews but was compelled as these ladies are the best in the business!!!! They have won all my business. I strongly recommend them for dry cleaning and tailoring.

Excellent, friendly service. For example, the kind folks at Georgetown Valet performed an emergency repair on a suit jacket on very short notice and did an excellent job. Would recommend.

Professional, efficient and reasonably priced for DC—dry cleaning a jacket runs you ~$9.80 incl tax and they don't charge extra for next-day service. Clothing alterations will run you $16 to shorten a pair of slacks and $32 to shorten jacket sleeves.

Bottom line: Don't take your clothes here unless you to have your clothes damaged, a manager text you denying that they damaged your clothes, then try to charge you to fix them--read full story for surprise ending!nnOn Thursday May 23 (early morning), I dropped off a silk blouse that I spilled coffee on. On Friday May 24th (late afternoon), I receive a text message with a photo of my blouse and a rip. I ask for details on what happened, and they insist that the rip was already there. They tell me they did not send out the blouse for cleaning because upon inspection they found the tear. Immediately, I wonder why it took them basically a day and a half to find the tear. The next day, the manager Jamie texts me.nnFast forward to this week, I am back in town after a bunch of travel and dreading dealing with this annoying situation. I have been a loyal customer here. It's convenient for me, and the employee who works the early mornings is very sweet. I decide I just want them to fix the blouse, clean it, then move on. I text Jamie, reiterating that there was no hole in the blouse, and that this situation is upsetting and ask her to repair the blouse.nnShe insists that the blouse was ripped, that they texted me as soon as they saw the rip, and that I could pay a fee for her to possibly repair it. This is not really making any sense to me. I have been here several times, and they always inspect each item of clothing when you drop it off. This is so they can catalog what you are bringing, but also so they can inspect the clothing for damage. Every dry cleaner in America does this because they understandably don't want to be blamed for existing flaws. I watched them inspect my blouse--there was no tear.nnI finally say OK, we are not going to convince each other of who is responsible, so I would like you to just fix and clean the blouse. She then says I can pay a fee for them to try to repair the hem. What?! This is a $120 blouse. I don't want them to pay for it, but you are going to ask me to pay to repair the blouse that you ripped? Even if they didn't believe they did it, for a very frequent customer who never complains, it seems pretty unbelievable to try to make $10 off of them.nnThat's sort of my limit. At that point, I stop engaging. It's not worth it anymore. These are not good businesspeople. I am certain they ripped my blouse, but I will just not give them business anymore. I have no plan to write a negative review even though A) I am upset and B) I feel like it's a useful PSA for would-be customers.nnNow we get to maybe the worst part of this saga and the reason I end up actually writing a review, I go to pick up my blouse. I don't try to engage, and the manager is not in. I get home and remove the plastic from my blouse, and I notice the coffee stains are gone. THEY CLEANED MY BLOUSE! Well, now here's confirmation of what happened. The blouse was dry-cleaned between Thursday morning and late Friday afternoon and was damaged in the process. The manager told me over and over that they didn't clean my blouse because they saw the tear when they inspected the clothes before sending it out. BUT. THE. COFFEE. STAINS. ARE. GONE. Unbelievable.
