It's in an alley behind an outlet mall
It's over 90 degrees and one of your trains left my husband and others with kids (Hall/Nimbus stop) on the platform for another 50 minutes in the sun. He was walking up the ramp to try and board. (He was at the train stop early, but no one wants to wait on the platform in the sun. The stop lacks adequate shade and seating, especially from sun and rain around commuting hours.) When the gates came down for the train to pull through, the train stopped for seconds before pulling away from the platform, moving away as my husband walked past the first car. Trimet needs to redesign their platforms in terms of shaded waiting area and gate crossing location. The train was already running late on schedule. As a note: my husband also arrived early in the morning and waited on the train an extra five minutes since the driver was waiting for people to board. This is an inconsistency with wait period to allow people to board. DONT LEAVE PEOPLE BEHIND. Terrible service.
