When my dream opportunity came up in another state, I had to sell my dental practice very quickly. I had worked with Carl in purchasing my practice years earlier. When I called him he referred me to Casey, his son, who had taken over most of the legwork on practice transitions. Frankly, I thought Casey’s head was in the clouds when he told me what he thought I could sell my practice for and how quickly he thought I would have interested buyers. I dragged my feet for a couple of weeks when events transpired in my practice that necessitated I put it up for sale as soon as possible. I called Casey on a Friday morning and told him to go ahead and post it. That evening he called me and said he had lined up two showings the following week on Monday and Tuesday. He also said that he had six or seven other buyers interested in looking at it. On Monday, a mere three days after I had posted my practice—really only one business day after—I showed my practice to a fine young dentist, and he made an offer that evening. They took care of so much of the stressful parts of selling the practice. They dealt with banks and accountants and lawyers to make the transition very streamlined. This was in contrast to the broker on my purchase In another state. They left a lot of things undone and went away for vacation on the week we were supposed to close. I can’t recommend Carl, Casey, Kelly, and the CBI team enough. Not only did Casey talk the talk, he walked the walk. I was under contract within three days with a qualified buyer and we sold it for more than asking price.
