My wife and I were there in November so no kayaking or anything, just a hike at Tyler Bend Reaction area. The cabin was nice, but not *too* nice. The people we spoke to at BRO we're all very pleasant, and we got some good advice from one of them about hiking and dining.nnIf I had any complaints, it would be what's available in the immediate area. My experience was that some of the trails advertised on the website are actually an hour away, such as Hawksbill and Sam's Throne. My personal opinion is this would be a great place to stay, just make sure you understand what's around.

We went with a group and had a blast! Don't forget to bring a beer coozy!!nWe went the last weekend in August and THERE WAS NOT A SHUTTLE service available nor did they have kayaks at the time. Water was a little low but we still found places to jump in and hang out!nWe rented canoes and it took us about 5 hours!nIf you love the water, take the longest float you can! Very beautiful.

We recently finished the Tyler Bend to Gilbert one-day float trip in early September. This is worthwhile and water level and flow was pretty good and told the upper level and more popular areas are normally closed this time of year. This is a fun trip but do NOT underestimate how long it is to paddle 5.8 miles. It’s a legit 4 hours of labor and we were exhausted when done... definitely do not recommend for a young family with young kids... the 2.5 mile Tyler Bend trip is just fine for younger kids.. Family of four rented two canoes and bring a cooler to set in the middle...need lake sandles and pay to have your car waiting at the end was worth it...Service was OK and what you would expect for a canoe rental operation in the middle of Arkansas..

It was like a party cabin. Sticky and it smelled terrible. Ended up leaving and not staying. UPDATED POST since their response. Zero mistake about it being their cabin. It was reserved under my daughters name. It was not worth $300 a night. Nice cigarette buckets btwud83dude02

Good customer service with quick answers to many questions. It was easy to check in for a canoe trip, easy to access the river and exit at the take out. The staff were professional and courteous.
