I would like to know why you have not reached out to Heather Cross family ? Your officer should have never been going that fast in a school zone or any where ! It was for a back up ! I hope he was drug tested and fired ! This could of happen to one of your family members. There is no reason this accident should of happen. I’m sure that back up call was not worth messing up Heather life . I’m very disappointed in our police department! We are a small community that needs to stick together. Your officer was in the wrong and y’all need to step up and take care of this family !
Majority of the officers in this small city make an intimate family feel. An accident occurred not too long ago were 2 vehicles stuck head on and involved an officer. We must learn from this and be thankful this wasn't a fatal wreck. I pray for both a speedy recovery. I'm thankful of our enforcement agency for that accidents are such a rare occurrence. Before anyone makes judgement on any matter I ask them to investigate the facts. An officer puts his life on the line to serve and protect. He was responding to a call from an officer needing assistance. The only lifeline officers have are each others and the community backing the force. Dont assume any call isnt a life on the line one mistake and they become an option. God bless

These officers are so nice and care about our neighborhood. They stop and say hi. They make it feel like a real community and yet they are protecting us always. The chief is an awesome down to earth guy that means business if you are the bad guy but feels like family if you're not. Awesome team. Mayor Kemp should be proud.
