Waffle House

I always have a good meal at a good price at any Waffle House, but today I was super disappointed. We waited twenty minutes to seat ourselves with no acknowledgement from the staff. It took several minutes to halfway get the counter cleaned With a dirty rag and no sanitizer and then another ten minutes to have our order taken. No drinks were served for another twenty minutes and our food was served a plate at a time stretched out over another ten minutes. My eggs and grits were almost luke warm, my waffle was soft so when I put the butter and syrup on, it was soggy. Grits had no flavor and the biscuits and gravy wasn’t good either but at least they were hot. The cook forgot the extra egg for one person in our party and that took another five to ten minutes before it was served up. By then, the other eggs and grits were cold. Food, atmosphere and service were poor. I feel that this restaurant needs serious training to be brought up to standard. The health department would have a field day at this place! I don’t have super high expectations but I do expect the area I’m eating at to be clean, I expect the wait staff to know how to properly serve a meal, and I expect my food to be hot as flavorful. I do not recommend this WH.

Pretty standard visit to a Waffle House.nnWas the food tasty, yes.nnWas the establishment clean, so-so. The table needed wiping down. Some of the eating utensils were sticky or dirty.nnKind of a gamble depending on the Waffle House you go to. But we went during midday. Waffle House is best enjoyed late at night when the cravings hit! Plus the drunks showing up becomes pure entertainment!!!

Good food nice staff

We waited a very long time to be seated, then waited another very long time for a very disinterested waiter to take our order. There were only three other occupied tables. There were dead flies in the windowsills. I do not recommend.

Ate lunch here today and the meal was as expected quick and tasty. The music was played at an annoyingly loud level. I checked the the decibel level and it was was exceedingly above 90 and peaked at 97. Recommended levels are 75 decibels. When I asked if it could be turned town, I was told that it couldn’t be lowered. Unpleasant environment for a peaceful meal.
