When our neighborhood was targeted for theft, the police answered our call with extra patrols and suggestions for our protection. Thefts stopped for us.

I had to go to the station to pick up some property and when we pulled up to the back to ask for directions he grabbed his gun and angrily yelled at my wife that we shouldn’t be back here. Serve and protect? More like figure it out and don’t ask for help.

I've been so blessed by the POCAHONTAS Police department during the memorial service of my husband, Timothy Kent Winlow, from their presece during the service to the precession to the burial site, it was exceptionally amazing the support which was given to our family. I wish to convey my deepest gratitude and appreciation; also, to the pocahotas fire department, and to the entire community. This was an overwhelming time in our lives, but thanks to all the wonderful people in this community, it made this time in our lives bearable, once again thank you so very much.
