River Elk is amazing!! You couldn’t ask for a better view of the Ozarks! Short distance to the Buffalo River to fish, float, camp, or just enjoy an adventurous walk! Definitely coming back, and for a longer stay! Highly recommend for anyone, no matter what age! You will not be disappointed in the Lone Elk cabins! New cabins, very clean, all necessary amenities! Bottom line......GO!

This place is still pristine, it seems like the construction and decorating was just finished last week. Everything was incredibly comfortable (furniture and bedding) which helped to make our stay incredibly relaxing. The views were spectacular with the grounds overlooking the Buffalo River valley. There are cool trails around the property, some going down to the river. To top it off, Kenny the owner was a great host who made sure that we were happy with our stay.
